Profundo y descansado es
El sueño del que muere en natural;
Pero el que muere de
Una súbita muerte accidental
Durante un tiempo más está
Del todo despierto y consciente,
Y en plena posesión de
La lucidez de su mente

De esta forma sueña el alma,
Y es después de este sueño que
Despierta el alma nueva
Después de la muerte...

No vemos a la Muerte cara a cara,

Para devolverles el color
Que tienen cuando vivos,
Antes de la muerte...
